About Me

Annie
I'm 45, newly minted MBA, work as an evil banker, and remain proudly Republican (though not scarily fundamentalist). I'm centrist on education and health care. As the blog title indicates, I'm preparing to leave half of myself behind as I undergo Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery. This blog is to track my progress - and hopefully will result in our end goal of not just me being healthier, but a final successful chance at starting a family.
